Sport has many benefits for our body. It can make our body stronger and fit.
My favorite sport is basketball. It can be done in outdoor or indoor. There are some position in basketball team, like point guard, small forward, and center. Beside that in basketball competition there are some terms, such as a three pointer and dribbling. A Three pointer is three point scored in one shot. While dribbling is taping the ball quickly in order to keep it moving.
My favorite player of basketball is Michael Jordan. Sometimes I want to be like him. And to make it come true, I usually exercise basketball in my free time. I also often follow some competition in my school. I hope with my experiences in basketball, I can be an international player someday.

when i had gone to national championship karateka maesa cup X jakarta 9-11 may 2008 , i felt really nervous, do you know ??because, before i followed this event i exercise rarely.but....... in my heart i believe that i can be a winner..in my first match i strove with karateka from jabar, in first minute, he had the edge on me. but in the last minute i got of best of him.i was really lucky, i went to the final. oh thanks my god Allah subhana wa ta'ala....alhamdulillah.in the final match, i lost from host (karateka from jakarta).so i just got silver.]no problem.but i had experience.do you know? experience is the best teacher.see you.........

I want to describe bungee jumping..
Bungee jumping is unusual sport. This is one of my favorite sport. Bungee jumping can do if someone has dare to do it. Extreme sport especially bungee jumping generate a lot of adrenaline. If we want to do bungee jumping, we must go to the highest building with someone who know about bungee jumping to keep ourself. In bungee jumping, we need strong rolls to survive our body and another equipment, for example helm to protect our head. If we are falling down, we must think our heart lost from our body. If you feel afraid and you have heart sickness, you must not try it. Bungee jumping is extreme sport and I enjoy it. You can try bungee jumping in Bali. If you have holiday with your family and your friends, you can come to Bali or the other palce.

Here are my opinion about all those topics:
1. The increase of fuel price
"I don not agree to the government policy to increase the fuel price"
Why???
The government reason to increase the price of fuel price is to safe National Budget because of the increase of word fuel price. In my opinion, to safe our budget, the govenrment should wise to post the budget and cut the post that is only wasting money. Example: I remember when Indonesia celebrate "100 Resurgence Day"...at that time Indonesia was very in bad conditon of economy, but the government still celebrated it with very lux way that spent trillion Rupiah...why did not government post that money to help the poor or post it to the education sector that now tend to very expensive for the poor......
To save our budget...why do don't the government fight for the corruptor that use up the money just to rich himself..Can you estimate..How many trillion of Rupiah can be saved if the curroptors are wiped out???
I am very appreciate if government more concern of the development of alternative fuel. There are many alternative fuel that are common now. They are:
1. Bio gas
2. Solar Energy
3. The use of wind to create electricity (the simple made tool can generate 400 Watt)
4. etc

Here are my opinion about all those topics:
1. The increase of fuel price
"I don not agree to the government policy to increase the fuel price"
Why???
The government reason to increase the price of fuel price is to safe National Budget because of the increase of word fuel price. In my opinion, to safe our budget, the govenrment should wise to post the budget and cut the post that is only wasting money. Example: I remember when Indonesia celebrate "100 Resurgence Day"...at that time Indonesia was very in bad conditon of economy, but the government still celebrated it with very lux way that spent trillion Rupiah...why did not government post that money to help the poor or post it to the education sector that now tend to very expensive for the poor......
To save our budget...why do don't the government fight for the corruptor that use up the money just to rich himself..Can you estimate..How many trillion of Rupiah can be saved if the curroptors are wiped out???
I am very appreciate if government more concern of the development of alternative fuel. There are many alternative fuel that are common now. They are:
1. Bio gas
2. Solar Energy
3. The use of wind to create electricity (the simple made tool can generate 400 Watt)
4. etc

My favorite sport is badminton because exhilarating and interesting. I usually play badminton with my sister or my neighbour in the field. I often play badminton in twice a week, average two hour. Beside that badminton it's very healthy because with play badminton we can produce many sweat that can make we health.
In badminton there is no basic technique but just need more energy. The strategy to win a badminton competition depends on if we consentrate when we play badminton. My favorite badminton player in the world is Bao Chun Lai from China because he is very calm and have great jump smash.

We think sky surfing is one of the extreme sport. Sky surfing is surfing in the sky. To do sky surfing we need a board and a parachute. The board it’s not like the sky diving’s board, but it’s like skater board. The sky surfing is a team sport. A team consist of two peoples. The basic technique for sky surfing is stand upright on the board during free fall, tilt nose of the board down, the movement in the air is similar to the one on the top of wave, a sky surfer should be able to balance his body in the air, and the last loops, rolls and helicopter spins are more advanced technique in the sky surfing. If you see the sky surfing you feel, impatience, understanding, interest, amazement, and relieved.

My favorite sport is football. Football is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players and is the most popular sport in the world. The object of the game is to score by manoevring the ball into the opposing goal. In general play, the goalkeepers are the only players allowed to use their hands or arms to propel the ball and the rest of the team usually use their feet to kick the ball and using their head to intercept the ball in midair. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declare or the game goes into extra time or penalty shootout, depending on the format or the competition.

Bobsledding
Although sledding on snow or ice had been popular in many northern countries, bobsleighing is a relatively modern sport. It originates from two crestas being attached together with a board and a steering mechanism being attached to the front of a sled. English tourists crossed with the successful marketing and vision of hotelman Caspar Badrutt in the mineral spa town of St Moritz, Switzerland. Badrutt had recently successfully 'sold' the idea of 'winter resorting' to some of his English regulars using a wager as bait; he was annoyed with a four month long season for the rooms, food, alcohol and activities he sold; when a year or two later some of his more adventuresome English guests began adapting boys delivery sleds for recreation, they also began colliding with pedestrians whilst speeding down the village's lanes and alleys.[citation needed]
This had both short- and long-term outcomes: in the short term the guests began to scheme about and invent 'steering means' into the sleds, which became the head-first skeleton, luge, and bobsleighs (Bobsleds). As for the longterm effects, after a couple more years of happy pedestrian peril, Badrutt built them a special track for their activities—the world's first natural ice half-pipe in about 1870. It is still in operation today and has served as a host track during two winter olympics. The track is one of the few natural weather tracks in the world independent upon extra refrigeration. The satisfied guests eventually enabled him to build the Palace Hotel, whilst holding onto the popular Krup Hotel, which catered to different clientelle, and brought in competition as winter tourism in alpine locales caught fire.[citation needed]
The first informal races were run on snow-covered roads, with the opening of formal competition in 1884 at St. Moritz. It's not known how much the original track evolved in the early years as the three sports matured and stabilized. The first club was formed in 1897, and the first purpose-built track solely for bobsleds was opened in 1902 outside of St Moritz.[citation needed]
The Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT) was founded in 1923. Men's four-crew bobsleigh appeared in the first ever Winter Olympic Games in 1924, and men's two-crew bobsleigh (two man bobsled) event was added in 1932. Bobsleigh was not included in the 1960 Winter Olympics, but has been in every Winter Olympics since. Women's bobsleigh started in competition in the early 1990s, and women's two-crew bobsleigh made its Olympic debut at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Bobsleigh is also contested at American, European, and World Cup championships.
Over the years, bobsleigh tracks evolved from straight runs to twisting and turning. The original wooden sleds were replaced by streamlined fibreglass and metal ones. Switzerland and Germany have been the most successful bobsleighing nations measuring using over all successes in European, World, World Cup, and Olympic championships. The Swiss have won more medals than any other nation, and since the 1990s Germans have been dominant in international competition. Italy, Austria, USA and Canada also have strong bobsleigh traditions.
The world record for fastest speed attained in a bobsled is 201 km per hour[citation needed]. US Bobsled & Skeleton Federation have previous mistakenly claimed the world record to be lower than 201 km per hour because they didn't adjust for wind resistance, gravitational pull, slope angle, and conditions of the ice[citation needed]; the official record of 201 km per hour still stands.

Modern tracks are made of concrete and artificial ice. They are required to have at least one straight and one labyrinth. Ideally, a modern track should be 1200 to 1300 metres long and have at least fifteen curves. Speeds may exceed 130 km/h, and some curves can subject the crews to as much as 5 g.
Some bobsled tracks are also used for luge and skeleton competition.
At some of these tracks, including those at Sigulda, Latvia, Calgary, Canada, and Lake Placid, USA, there are paid services that offer tourists rides in bobsleighs.

Modern sleighs combine light metals, steel runners, and an aerodynamic composite body. Competition sleighs must be a maximum of 3.80 m long (4-crew) or 2.70 m long (2-crew). The runners on both are set at 0.67 m gauge. Until the weight-limit rule was added in 1952, bobsleigh crews tended to be very heavy. Now, the maximum weight, including crew, is 630 kg (4-crew), 390 kg (men's 2-crew), or 340 kg (women's 2-crew). Metal weights may be added to reach these limits, as greater weight makes for a faster run.
Bobsleigh crews once consisted of five or six people, but were reduced to two- and four-person sleighs in the 1930s. A crew is made up of a pilot, a brakeman, and, in 4-crew only, two pushers. Athletes are selected based on speed and strength, necessary to push the sleigh to a competitive initial speed at the start of the race. Pilots must have the skill, timing and finesse to drive the sleigh along the best possible line to achieve the greatest possible speed. In the early 1950s weighting was introduced to compensate for the natural advantage of having a heavier team.
Women compete in two-crew events, and men in both two- and four-crew competition.

Runs (lauf) begin from a standing start, with the crew pushing the sled for up to fifty metres before boarding. The runners of the sled follow grooves in the ice for this distance, so steering is unnecessary until after the sleigh exits the starting area. Races can be lost in the initial push but are rarely won there. Over the rest of the course, the sleigh's speed depends on its weight, aerodynamics, and runners, the condition of the ice, and the skill of the driver.
The sleds can go so fast that the race times are measured in hundredths of seconds, so any error can have a significant impact on the final race standings. Even small errors make for small decreases in speed and commensurate increases in time. Because any decrease in speed affects the sleigh for the remainder of the course, errors made high on the track will have a greater effect than those made closer to the finish.
Each run down the course in competition is referred to as a heat. The men's and women's standing for normal races are calculated over the aggregate of two runs or heats. At the Olympic Winter Games and World Championships, all competitions (for either men or women) consist of 4 heats.
